Gurvan Tamir School has successfully organized the Level 1 exams of International Mathematics Olympiad by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) based on New Delhi, India on 17th of December 2019. A total of 98 students from public and private secondary schools have participated in the Level 1 of the olympiad.
The Level 1 exam is an objective-type test having duration of 60 minutes comprising of 35 objective-type questions for grades 1 to 4 and 50 objective-type questions for grades 5 to 12. The question paper consists of four sections; Logical Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning, Everyday Mathematics and Achievers Section. Results for the Level 1 will be announced in February 2020.
