School life

The Student Council is the bridgelinking the school’s staff and student body together. Members of the Student Council do more than simply represent their respective classes. They take part in and become a student voice to all events held on campus, charitable donations, community outreach, and much, much more.

At Gurvan Tamir School, we are committed to the social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual growth of our students relevant to our mission and values. Club activities include humanitarian club under Red Cross, debate club and Eco club involving environmentally conscious students.

Gurvan Tamir School offers a wide range of extracurricular activities for our students. We intend to provide each student with a chance to develop an area of interest, and to enhance their experience of school life overall. The activities offered include art, handicraft, dance, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, chess, chorus, STEM, piano and Chinese.

After school activities for primary students are art, handicraft, chess, dance, chorus, wrestling and piano.

After school activities for secondary students are basketball, volleyball, chess, art and technology, dance, chorus and Chinese and STEAM (grade 7 and 8 only).

Gurvan Tamir School provides bus service for our students with two bus routes to West & South direction. At the beginning of the school, the bus service request will be taken from the students and transportation fee will be set depending on distance and gasoline prices.
