GIRLS TEAM WINS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT TITLE

Bayangol District Physical Culture and Sports Committee organized the “Ulaanbaatar League 2019” basketball tournament amongst general education schools in Bayangol district from the 29th of October to the 17th of November in the three age categories. A total of 20 schools take part in the tournament and boys and girls teams from our Gurvan Tamir School participated in the tournament under the supervision of coach B.Purevsuren in the senior category.
Gurvan Tamir School Girls’ Team has won the Tournament gold medal beating their opponents in the senior category. The Tournament best player award has been presented to our grade 12 student M.Anujin. Hence, our girls’ team qualified for the next stage.
